Quarto + Typst Academic CV Template

Overview

A reproducible, data-driven academic CV template built with Quarto and Typst. Inspired by Andrew Heiss’s CV design.

Key features:

• Data-driven: CV entries stored in YAML files and BibTeX, separated from formatting
• Single command rendering: quarto render cv.qmd produces a polished PDF
• Clean typography: Source Sans 3 font, grayscale palette, FontAwesome and Academicons icons
• Smart author formatting: names auto-abbreviated (Last, F.), your name bolded, DOIs hyperlinked
• No orphaned entries: blocks stay together across page breaks

Quick Start

1. Clone or download this repository
2. Install prerequisites (see Template Guide)
3. Edit the YAML data files in data/ and publications.bib with your information
4. Update the front matter in cv.qmd with your contact details
5. Run:

quarto render cv.qmd
